Mommy here. :) I wish I had big updates, but we are still waiting on tests on Brooklyn to know when her surgery will be tomorrow. But I do have some pics, so I thought I would put those up at least!! They are way out of order, blogger wouldn't cooperate, but here ya go. She is so plump and precious!!
Check out those arms and thighs!! She doesn't weigh as much as R did, but she is just as round! Still don't know her length... Daddy doesn't remember what they said. Nice.
They put her under an oxygen at first, but she doesn't have it anymore.
Look at that mouth!! She doesn't look like R did at first, so I'm anxious to see later.
This is the only one with her eyes open so far.
This is as much as I have seen her as of right now. Hopefully they are going to wheel me down in a little bit, but this was right as I got out of the recovery room. That is all we've touched, but it sure was sweet!!
Squishing up her face! We saw this face a few times on the sonogram.
She hasn't gotten a bath yet, and she had ultrasound goo in her hair from one of her tests today. So, still a little bit of a mess, but a sweet mess!!! She evidently LOVES her paci. She can't eat because of her upcoming surgery, but they have given her sugar water to keep her blood sugar level up through her paci. No wonder she loves it!
This is her water bed.... looks like a giant pillow. But she lays on her tummy on it and snuggles it. You can see, her spine has the big bandage and plastic covering it so far. Then her diaper is hanging on for dear life below that. AND, she has tinkled AND pooped by herself a couple of times today!!! Yay!!

Here is her nasty hair, but sweet close up!
That is all for now! It takes forever to upload pics here, so I can't do a bunch. But I feel great so far, and hope to go see the sweet girl soon, so hopefully we'll have more tomorrow! Big Sister Reagan is on her way up here, so we'll have some of her too. Love to all!!!!

That is so wonderful!! I have been waiting for an update and this is perfect. It is so terrific to see her comfortable and resting, and using the bathroom, and working the pacie, and kicking and moving her feet...and everything!! Those pictures remind me so much of our time with Carter in the NICU. I love you and her!!

Yea! :) As soon as I got home from work, I ran to the computer to get the latest on our little Brooklyn! She is a cutie!!! Love the tubby arms and thighs :) It's great to hear that she's doing well and going potty just fine! I bet you are dying to get your hands on her:) Big sister is going to love her!

Dad called me this morning from the hospital and told me the great news...that she was big and kicking. She has some serious legs on her!! Love it. She is so cute I can tell already. Glad you are doing good and we will be waiting for the next piece of news. By the way, my 4th period is thinking about you too. I told them last week about yall and then today they knew that you were having her. :) They also want to be updated on her! Don't you miss teaching!?! OK, probably not but sounded good right? :) Love to all...

Oh Jodi, Brooklyn is beautiful and so are you! I've been thinking of you and praying all day for you guys. It is so good to see pictures of her and how the Lord has answered prayers for a healthy delivery. We will continue to pray as I know there is much more to overcome for all of you. Love you so much!

Brooklyn is beautiful. My prayer for your family right now is this - "Be strong and courageous and do not be afraid. The Lord goes with you each and everyday. He'll never forsake you. Don't be afraid." I will keep praying/singing that for you guys as you travel this frightening time. Again, little Miss B looks gorgeous (and so fantastically chubby). Praying for you.
