I Love My Job

Reagan and I were playing in the bouncy house... about 100 games of Ring Around the Rosie. (It's a lot more fun in the bouncy house than on the regular floor.) Anyways, we fall down, then Reagan likes to "help" me up by pulling on my hands. Around game 73 or so, she helps me up and then throws herself at me and hugs around my waist really tight.... looks up and says "You're my bestest best friend, Mommy." Makes for a great day. :)

I just had to write that one down for my own sake. And so I can remind her of it when she is 13.

Today Thain and I were walking and he asked me what "forever" meant. I told him, the rest of your life, and neverending. He still looked confused and I told him Like Mommy and Daddy are married so we will be together forever. He said, "Can I marry you so we can be together forever." Kids are so sweet!!!

That was sweet!! Hailey at 5 already tells me when she's mad about something that I'm not her friend anymore!! I just tell her that's okay because I'm still her Mommy :-)

How sweet!!!! OK, I totally teared up when I read that so I know it must have made you cry! What a sweet little girl :)

....I just read Stacia's comment. When Bryson's mad at me, he'll sometimes tell me that he's not my friend anymore too. But, he makes up for it when he tells me that he loves me all on his own. :)

Be still my heart, what a sweet girl. Those are the moments to remember when they become teenagers right?

I'm a friend of Stefany and Joe David Bowers and Amber and Eric Green. I keep up with your blog because I also have two girls about the same age as your own! Our youngest was born 11/25 so they are really close.

Anyway, just read your entry and I posted something so similar today that I just had to leave a comment! Check it out if you get a chance. Yes - aren't they the best? They say the funniest things and we do have the best job!

Continuing to pray for your family

Awe, what a precious girl! I love how we love those comments, but know they will come to an end with the bitter adolescent years. Sammi tells me how she will always live with us, even when she is married, and how she would never hate me. I tell her the same thing you mentioned "we will see when you are a teenager".

Okay, I have to know where you got the bounce house and how much it was...I see a great after school activity...at least for one day until Mr. Mason pops a whole in it...
