Easter Weekend EggStravaganza: Part 1

Adam and family were at Mom and Dad's for a mere 24 hours Easter weekend, so we made the most of it! We don't get to see each other NEAR enough, so even a little time is worth the trip up there. After just waking up Saturday morning, the big girls spent some snuggle time with David. Regardless of how he seems in this picture, I promise you he was eating it up. :)
Mom had some goodie bags for each of the kiddos. Reagan got a new magnifying glass in hers, and she immediately went outside to hunt bugs.
B slept FOREVER, so everyone was really ready to get her up! She's a lug, but Adley can handle her.
One of our planned events for the day was coloring eggs.
Reagan picked out this tie-dye kit, and it was SO kid friendly! No cups of staining water to deal with!

Just drop a few drops in the plastic bag and swirl the egg around. Genius. I highly recommend this way of coloring for little ones! I'll be doing it for years!

B got to watch while playing with plastic eggs. She and Corbin got a game going of throwing it back and forth, which you will see she thought was HILARIOUS. Actually, my girls think everything Corbin does is the most hysterical thing they've ever seen. :)

So sweet!
The big girls, however, were really into their coloring.
We always love having the Other Grandmommy over for our fun together!
Egg hunt!!
Those flags are not marking hidden eggs... just a layout for a new walkway Mom and Dad are putting in. The kids didn't mind going around!

RUN CORBIN!!!

Both the biggest kids were SO sweet to Reagan. I bet they found more for her than they put in their own baskets!!! They are so precious.
The neighbors loved watching the fun, I'm sure.
We told the hunters that there were eggs on the porch at the perfect height for B, so they were to pass those up. She got to walk and find her own that way!!
She'd get them open, then sit back an relax while munching on M&Ms. Can't say I blame her.

The loot. Couldn't decide which expression of joy on R's face makes me happier!

Adley's so pretty and SO big.

Adam can't get enough of my girls... makes my heart melt.

They were dressing up their hairdo's with dandelions.
Thief..... that's Corbin's basket.

Since the cousins weren't gonna be here on Sunday, they (the girls) requested a Fashion Show for their Easter outfits. Here the girls are showing how their dresses twirl. All girls love a twirly dress!!

Grandparents with their pride and joy. (Seriously, Brooklyn and her pointing!! Always pointing...)
There is always some pvc pipe to be found at Granddaddy's which makes for great games and sword-fighting. And hitting Uncle Adam on the booty.

This would be the sadness picture.... when they had to leave. R was DEVASTATED. I've actually never really seen her like that with such raw and real emotion. Adley sat her down to talk to her and cheer her up. :) Sweet girls.
Later that night, hanging out and playing. LOVE this Granddaddy pic.
And this is what David got suckered into. Why this was better than actually riding it for real at the time, I have no clue.
Easter morning we were of course frantic to make it to church on time. No one in our family is a morning person! Anyways, trying to take a quick pic of the cuties, and B sneezes. :)
That's better. I could just eat them in this picture!
There were more festivities at Grammy and Poppy's house after church, but I will have to steal all the pics off of his camera. So, another Easter post will be coming. It'll be one of those "better late than never" kind of posts since it will be over a week until I can do it.... We're headed on vacation!! So, see ya in about 10 days!
