Visits from BFFs

I'll start this off with a video.... this sums up the sounds we heard for 6 days.  Seriously, I don't know how Brooklyn keeps it up.  She got herself MAJOR workouts EVERY DAY while they were here, just by laughing.  Everything was absolutely hilarious that any of the kids did!  Oh, how I love her spirit.  :)

The last time Kendra was here, the girls were THIS age.  Jan of 2008.  Cutie pies.

THIS is now.  Crazy how fast they get so big!!  I absolutely love this picture.  It sums up their weekend in one shot.  (The girls went to Art Camp for 3 mornings at Reagan's MDO, and of course wore matching outfits each day.  This was the only day we took their picture though, which makes me mad at myself.  But they had THE. BEST. TIME.)
Did some art at home too.  Little finger paint is always fun!  Especially Color Wonder paint.  God bless Color Wonder and its creators.
Princess Tea Party Time.  Cheers!
Again, Brooklyn's cheeks had to be hurting at the end of each day of laughing and smiling!
The girls did LOTS of Toy Story pretending.  Here, I think they were riding together and taking Buzz on a flying broom to rescue Jessie somewhere.
Of course, bathtime pics.  We let Brooklyn and Cason go first, then the big kids.
Awwwwwww.....
LOVE THESE FACES!
These two would make some GORGEOUS big, blue-eyed grandbabies for us someday.  I'm just sayin'...
Brooklyn really took to Kendra during this visit!

Can you tell they had fun?!
I love this one... how she's looking at him.  :)

And this may be one of my fave pics of all time.  Sweet big girls.... BFF.
Naked teeth brushing.  :)
I believe this was R's first time to have a friend sleep over in HER room.  The first night, we gave them the speech of NO talking, NO playing, go right to sleep, etc.  Ten minute later, Kendra goes in there to check on them and they are both in the closet.  :)  We didn't have the heart to get them in TOO much trouble.  But by day two, naps and bedtime went great.  So proud, they are so big.
Trust me, B loved having them here as much as R!!

Group hug!!
Playing Princess barbies, just like the big girls.
Again, LOVE Kendra.
We also got to take Cass with us to Reagan's gymnastics one evening!
Reagan thought it was BIG FUN to get to take a friend.
Swinging and kicking the ballons.  Not sure who that girl in the middle is, but she has good form in that jump!

There was one afternoon with a very light sprinkle (NOTHING compared to the last couple of weeks!), but it cooled things off somewhat so we played in it.

More craftiness.  Painted these cute, cheap masks.

Let me narrarate this for you:
C: "Ooooh, Reagan!  I like that rainbow necklace you're painting!"
R: "Thanks, Cass.  I like that purple lip gloss you're painting on yours!"
C: "Well, thank you Reagan!"
That's not exaggerating.  They are SO sweet to each other.  Will let the other choose what to play or what show to watch without us asking.  NEVER argue or fuss.  Use manners talking to each other, and compliment what the other is doing constantly. They truly are two peas in a pod and are SO good at playing together.
~
Reading night-time story.  Notice R had been printing and coloring pictures she thought Cass might like for several days before they got here.  Took off to her room with a roll of tape to "decorate" before her BFF sleepover!  And then they of course trashed the place with toys and stuff.  Best mess ever.
That's the end of the Broom Visit photos.  Thank y'all SOOOOO much for spending that time with us.  We still miss you!!!
These are just a few of Brook from right after they left that I wanted to put up... playing with herself in the mirror.
Silly girl.
And the videos wouldn't cooperate on where I wanted them... but here is Brooklyn again with her constant laughing, this time with K.
Visit Kendra's blog for more pics from their time here, if you'd like.  She got some GREAT ones, and we had our cameras out at different times, so we captured different events.  :)  I am too lazy to put them on here, so click on the link (mostly for Grandparents!).

So fun! Brooklyn's belly laughs sound a lot like Jake's.
