You know that with a title like that... this post is LONG. How could it not be!? We had SUCH a great weekend with Grammy and Poppy right before Halloween!
Doesn't get any better than this, huh Poppy?!?
Grammy missed some of the playtime fun while cooking FABULOUS meals for us. I am thankful for her sacrifice. :) That is homemade fried chicken! My bathroom scale however is not thankful...
Reagan's new skill!
Morning cartoons.
Brook always sits with her leg up like this. Reagan would say "that cracks me OUT!" :)
When Grammy was a little girl, the "Chipmunk" would come visit and bring prizes when she stayed at her grandmother's house. Crazy enough, that same Chipmunk comes to HER house when her grandbabies are there! Amazing! There seems to always be a treat of some sort on the front porch when the girls wake up... go figure.
Morning snuggle time.
We took the girls mini-golfing for the first time. Brooklyn was hilarious. She loved the colored putting greens, walking up and down the hills, and totally getting in the way of everyone's hitting! It was awesome.
Reagan, mid-victory-jump.
Brooklyn, chasing down Grammy's ball...
... and placing it in the hole for her!
"Mine."
Annnnd... here she comes to harrass help me play.
Poppy's turn!
Takes a lot of talent to walk OVER the rocks while holding a golfball and driving a walker.
A tribute to the croquet-style play of Miss Reagan Noel:
Also takes a lot of talent to putt while carrying all the stuff.
Check out this stance:
Reagan LOVES playing Chinese Checkers with Grammy. Not exactly sure how good she is at following the rules...
Pumpkin Patch!!
LOVE Brooklyn's ears in this one...
Reagan really wanted to do the corn maze, so the big boys took the little girls.
Notice it is daylight....
Brooklyn and David were always a little behind, but Brook walked the whole thing!
"Which way do we go, Poppy??!"
Notice, by the time they found the exit, it was dark! But I love this picture... notice how everyone is "celebrating" and Brooklyn is pointing at the slides...
Mother and Son..... awwwwww... love it.
Have to do some hay bale jumping at the pumpkin patch, right?!
Sweet girl walking with her Poppy.
Reagan favorite version of the slide:
Reagan wanted to sit up top for the first picture, and Brooklyn just wanted to eat the pumpkin!
My cuties.
Brooklyn, the little lover, had to hug the pumpkin.
And her sister. I never have to tell them to do this, it is always unprompted. Oh, how I love them and love that they love each other!!
Ever want to go to a nice restaurant and be certain there is not wait?! Go out to eat somewhere in Dallas during a Cowboys Monday Night Football Game. Macaroni Grill was EMPTY.
We ate to celebrate Grammy's birthday!!
We ate to celebrate Grammy's birthday!!
We gave her this square bowl. She liked it. Score. :)
Reagan singing "Happy Birthday."
Yay!
"Aaaaaaaa..."
"Mmmmmmmm."
"Yay!"
Question: "Reagan, is the cake pretty yummy?!"
Answer:
Thanks Grammy and Poppy for a FABULOUS weekend!!!
